Everyone here at the PonyCon Team is eager to share our news regarding the upcoming 2014 Australian Pony Event, and we’re quite happy to announce to following:
Early next year, the city of Melbourne has been chosen to play host to the 2014 followup to the wildly successful PonyCon AU!
PonyCon AU – which made its debut in Sydney earlier this year – is the first and only My Little Pony convention in Australia. Drawing a crowd of more than 1100 Bronies to the University of New South Wales Roundhouse, this year we hope to not only match, but exceed that number.
We’re currently looking at several Melbourne locations, and have found what we hope will be our final location for the convention. All of our potential locations are close to the Melbourne city center, and will be accessible by both public transport and car. There will be plenty of close accommodation to pick and choose from.
